A system and method for generating usage-weighted influence metrics in synchronized broadcast environments are described. Listener devices transmit periodic playback telemetry including timestamps and session identifiers to a control server, which aggregates data to form a listener-count time series. A cumulative engagement metric, termed SynQ Minutes, is calculated by integrating listener count over the playback duration of each track. Additional analytics including join rate, leave rate, and momentum index quantify engagement trends and inflection points. Metrics are stored in an analytics database for visualization and longitudinal trend analysis, enabling statistically accurate measurement of audience interaction and influence.
