Abstract
An exhaust purification device includes a filter configured to collect particulate matter in exhaust gas discharged from an internal 1 combustion engine; a contact device configured to bring the exhaust gas discharged from the filter into contact with a reducing agent; and a catalyst extending in an axial direction and arranged in parallel with the filter, the catalyst being configured to promote a reaction between the reducing agent and nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas discharged from the contact device, the contact device being located in the axial direction with respect to the catalyst.

An exhaust purification device comprising:
- a filter configured to collect particulate matter in exhaust gas discharged from an internal combustion engine;
- a contact device configured to bring the exhaust gas discharged from the filter into contact with a reducing agent;
- and
- a catalyst extending in an axial direction and arranged in parallel with the filter, the catalyst being configured to promote a reaction between the reducing agent and nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas discharged from the contact device, the contact device being located in the axial direction with respect to the catalyst.
