Abstract
Disclosed are solutions for an installation facilitation system for installation of fixtures, such as windows or doors, within rough openings. The installation facilitation system includes a facilitator coupled to, or attachable to, a peripheral portion of a fixture, the facilitator including a connection element enabling a mechanical fastener to pass through the connection element to engage an attachment surface adjacent the fixture without insertion of the mechanical fastener through the fixture.

An apparatus, comprising:
- a window pane;
- a window frame carrying the window pane, the window frame, comprising:
- a side comprising an angled frame surface, a cutout, and a receptacle, the angled frame surface defining the cutout and tapering toward the receptacle;
- and
- a bracket, comprising:
- a leg configured to be inserted into the receptacle to form a snap-fit connection;
- and
- a head comprising a head-angled surface and a through-hole to receive a fastener, the head-angled surface tapering toward the leg and corresponding to the angled frame surface,
- wherein, when the leg is inserted into the receptacle to form the snap-fit connection, the head is positioned to allow the fastener to pass through the through-hole and couple the bracket and the window frame to a surface of a rough opening of a structure.
