Composition

A kit of repellent for papermaking, comprising a first agent and a second agent, wherein

• the first agent comprises a hydrophobic compound (A1), and
• the second agent comprises a hydrophobic compound (A2) which is different from the hydrophobic compound (A1),
• wherein an endothermic peak in differential scanning calorimetry of the hydrophobic compound (A1) is shifted to a lower temperature by 0.5° C. or more and 80° C. or less in differential scanning calorimetry of a hydrophobic mixture (A) consisting of a hydrophobic compound (A1) and a hydrophobic compound (A2), and
• wherein the hydrophobic compound (A1) and the hydrophobic compound (A2) are each independently a compound having a hydrocarbon group having 6 or more and 40 or less carbon atoms,
• wherein the kit is used by separately adding and mixing the first agent and the second agent to a pulp substrate.
