The invention is in the field of medical treatment and relates to a method for treating coronavirus infection. In particular, the present invention relates to methods for prophylactic and/or therapeutic treatment of coronavirus infection by means of the mucosal administration of antibodies against coronavirus.

An anti-coronavirus, preferably anti-SARS-COV-2 bispecific antibody or an antigen binding fragment thereof, having a first Fab capable of binding to the stem helix of a coronavirus, preferably SARS-COV-2 and a second Fab capable of binding to the fusion peptide of a coronavirus, preferably SARS-COV-2, wherein the first Fab comprises a sequence comprising any one or more of preferred SEQ ID Numbers:
- 055, 137, 257, 363, 480 or 574 and wherein the second Fab comprises a sequence comprising any one or more of preferred SEQ ID Numbers:
- 639, 640, 641, 642, 643 to 644.
