Abstract

The invention relates to an STS crane comprising: a gantry with four vertical legs, of which in each case two vertical legs are connected to one another by a sill beam; and an upper assembly with a boom as well as a front crossbeam and a rear crossbeam which carry the boom and in each case run transversely to the boom; wherein the upper assembly is fastened to the gantry via the front crossbeam and the rear crossbeam; characterized by at least one climbing device for vertically moving the front crossbeam or the rear crossbeam relative to the respective legs to which the crossbeam is fastened; and at least one climbing ladder extending on the legs in the vertical direction to cooperate with the climbing device.
