Energy supply- and demand-based configuration and operation of electric vehicles

An apparatus for configuring a vehicle, the apparatus comprising:

• a means for determining an energy plan for the vehicle based on energy requirements about a supply of electricity to which the vehicle is capable of dispensing electrical charge, wherein the energy plan includes plans for dispensing electrical charge from the vehicle to the supply;
• and
• a means for generating movement instructions for the vehicle based on the energy plan.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium that comprises instructions which, if executed, cause one or more processors to:

• determine an energy plan for a vehicle based on energy requirements about a supply of electricity to which the vehicle is capable of dispensing electrical charge, wherein the energy plan includes plans for dispensing electrical charge from the vehicle to the supply;
• and
• generate movement instructions for the vehicle based on the energy plan.
