Abstract
Golf balls including one or more layers having at least one radar detectable mark disposed on the surface thereof are provided.
Claims15
A golf ball comprising at least a core and a cover,
- the golf ball further having a plurality of radar detectable marks disposed among at least one layer thereof, wherein the plurality of radar detectable marks are comprised of an electrically conductive ink, wherein, when all of the radar detectable marks are radially projected onto an outer surface of the golf ball, the radar detectable marks are spaced such that a centroid of each of the radar detectable marks is positioned at a vertex of one of a plurality of spherical triangles created from a plurality of great circle arcs, wherein:

- where E is a total number of great circle arcs, Tis a total number of spherical triangles, and V is a total number of vertices;
- and
- wherein the layer on which the plurality of radar detectable marks are disposed on is at least one of an outer surface of the core, or an inner surface of the cover.

A golf ball comprised of at least a core and a cover,
- the golf ball further having a plurality of radar detectable marks disposed among at least one layer thereof, wherein the plurality of radar detectable marks are comprised of an electrically conductive ink, wherein the layer on which the plurality of radar detectable marks are disposed on is at least one of an outer surface of the core, or an inner surface of the cover,
- wherein the plurality of radar detectable marks include at least one first mark having a first shape and at least one second mark having a second shape.
