Prostheses and methods are described for stabilizing dysfunctional sacroiliac (SI) joints. The prostheses are sized and configured to be advanced into dysfunctional SI joints in a posterior trajectory via surgically created pilot SI joint openings in the dysfunctional SI joint. The prostheses comprise monolithic members comprising an elongated mid-region, a first arm and a second arm. The elongated mid-region is disposed between and connected to the first and second arms, wherein the first arm extends outwardly from a first outer surface region of the elongated mid-region in a first direction, and the second arm extends outwardly from an opposing second outer surface region of the elongated mid-region in a second direction.
