The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for lifting and tightening skin, typically used during facelift procedures. The invention comprises an apparatus that can be placed on the crown of the head and attached to the skin on the face using threads or hook-and-loop strips. The apparatus allows for the skin to be pulled taut during a facelift procedure. Once the skin is pulled, a biocompatible adhesive is injected under the skin to keep the skin in a taut position. The adhesive remains in place until it gels, providing a facelift effect. The invention provides a minimally invasive and reversible alternative to traditional facelift procedures and allows for precise control over the amount of skin that is lifted.
