Abstract
A feeder management device includes: an acquisition section configured to acquire a feeder ID of a bulk feeder installed in a component mounter and a unit ID of a conveyance unit that is detachably set in a feeder main body of the bulk feeder and forms a conveyance path for a component; and a determination section configured to, based on the feeder ID and the unit ID acquired by the acquisition section, determine whether to permit or restrict application of the bulk feeder to a mounting process by the component mounter.

A feeder management device comprising:
- an acquisition section configured to acquire a feeder ID of a bulk feeder installed in a component mounter and a unit ID of a conveyance unit that is detachably set in a feeder main body of the bulk feeder and forms a conveyance path for a component;
- and
- a determination section configured to, based on the feeder ID and the unit ID acquired by the acquisition section, determine whether to permit or restrict application of the bulk feeder to a mounting process by the component mounter.
