Heat Sinks, Light Source Assemblies, And Apparatuses Having A Fluid Flow Diverter For Cooling LEDs Arranged Concentrically And/Or In An Elongated Direction Along A Heat Sink

An apparatus comprising a light source assembly and a support structure underlying the light source assembly, wherein the support structure houses components to affect operation of the light source assembly, and wherein the light source assembly comprises:

• a heat sink, comprising:
• one or more walls;
• a plurality of fins extending from interior surfaces of at least some of the one or more walls toward an interior region of the light source assembly;
• and
• two open opposing ends at respectively opposing ends of the one or more walls;
• a plurality of light emitting diodes coupled to the exterior surfaces of at least some of the one or more walls;
• a fluid moving device arranged adjacent to one of the two open opposing ends of the heat sink and configured to introduce a fluid into the heat sink in a downward direction;
• and
• a fluid flow diverter arranged within the interior region of the light source assembly, wherein the fluid flow diverter is configured to at least partially divert fluid flow from the interior region to areas between the plurality of fins.
