Abstract
Provided are a method and device of multi-hop sidelink communication in a shared COT. A method of a first user equipment (UE) may comprise receiving channel occupancy time (COT) sharing information from a second UE, receiving first sidelink (SL) transmission from a third UE within a shared COT according to the COT sharing information, determining whether second SL transmission is performed within the shared COT based on one or more conditions, and performing the second SL transmission in the shared COT upon determining that the second SL transmission is performed.

A method for operating a first user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- receiving sharing information from a second UE;
- receiving first sidelink (SL) transmission from a third UE within a channel occupancy time (COT) that is shared based on the sharing information;
- and
- transmitting a second SL transmission in the COT based on the sharing information,
- wherein the sharing information includes at least one of a source identifier (ID), a destination ID, a remaining COT duration, frequency domain information of a resource block (RB) set(s) of a COT, a channel access priority class (CAPC), an additional ID, or an associated cast type.
A first user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the first UE comprising:
- at least one processor,
- wherein the at least one processor causes the first UE to:
- receive occupancy time (COT) sharing information from a second UE;
- receive first sidelink (SL) transmission for a third UE within a channel occupancy time (COT) that is shared based on the sharing information;
- transmit a second SL transmission in the COT based on the sharing information,
- wherein the sharing information includes at least one of a source identifier (ID), a destination ID, a remaining COT duration, frequency domain information of a resource block (RB) set(s) of a COT, a channel access priority class (CAPC), an additional ID, or an associated cast type.
