Method and device for transmitting segmented positioning message in wireless communication system

A user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one computer memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the UE to perform operations comprising:
• receiving, from a peer entity, a first segmented positioning message of a positioning message;
• based on the reception of the first segmented positioning message being valid, storing the first segmented positioning message;
• receiving, from the peer entity, a second segmented positioning message of the positioning message;
• and
• based on the reception of the second segmented positioning message being invalid, transmitting, to the peer entity, a positioning error message containing information related to the second segmented positioning message.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising program instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause a user equipment (UE) to perform operations comprising:

• receiving, from a peer entity, a first segmented positioning message of a positioning message;
• based on the reception of the first segmented positioning message being valid, storing the first segmented positioning message;
• receiving, from the peer entity, a second segmented positioning message of the positioning message;
• and
• based on the reception of the second segmented positioning message being invalid, transmitting, to the peer entity, a positioning error message containing information related to the second segmented positioning message.
