Abstract
A communication method performed by a station (STA) includes: receiving a first wireless frame, in which the first wireless frame includes a first association identifier (AID) assigned to the STA by a first access point (AP), and at least one second AID pre-assigned to the STA by at least one second AP. The first AID and the at least one second AID may be the same or different.

A communication method, performed by a station (STA), comprising:
- receiving a first wireless frame, wherein the first wireless frame comprises a first association identifier (AID) assigned to the STA by a first access point (AP) and at least one second AID pre-assigned to the STA by at least one second AP.

- sending a second wireless frame, wherein the second wireless frame comprises a second association identifier (AID) pre-assigned to a station (STA) by the second AP, the second wireless frame is used to instruct a first AP to send the second AID to the STA by carrying the second AID in a first wireless frame, and the first wireless frame comprises a first AID assigned to the STA by the first AP.
