Abstract
A method for registering a personal internet of things network (PIN) element (PINE), performed by a terminal, is provided, and the method includes: sending a registration request to an access network device, wherein the registration request comprises PIN information of the terminal.

A method for registering a personal internet of things network (PIN) element (PINE), performed by a terminal, comprising:
- sending a registration request to an access network device, wherein the registration request comprises PIN information of the terminal.
A method for registering a personal internet of things network (PIN) element (PINE), performed by an access network device, comprising:
- receiving a first registration request sent by a terminal, wherein the first registration request comprises PIN information of the terminal;
- and
- sending a second registration request to an access and mobility management function (AMF) network element, wherein the second registration request comprises the PIN information of the terminal.
A method for registering a personal internet of things network (PIN) element (PINE), performed by an access and mobility management function (AMF) network element, comprising at least one of:
- receiving a registration request sent by an access network device, and/or receiving subscription data associated with a terminal sent by a unified data management (UDM) network element, wherein the registration request comprises PIN information of the terminal;
- and
- the method further comprising determining whether to accept the registration request based on at least one of:
- the registration request, the subscription data, a preset policy, or capability information of a core network.
