Abstract
Disclosed are methods, systems, and computer-readable medium to perform operations including: determining, by a user equipment, to change a power class of the UE; and in response, generating a power headroom report to be reported to a base station serving the UE.

A method comprising:
- determining to change a power class of a user equipment (UE);
- generating, in response to the change in the power class of the UE, a power headroom report to include an indication of a change in power;
- and
- transmitting the power headroom report to a base station.
