Abstract
A sensing communication method and apparatus. A MAP sensing measurement initiator sends a first request frame. The first request frame includes a MAP measurement session ID; and receives a first response frame. The first response frame includes the MAP measurement session ID. After receiving the first request frame, a MAP sensing measurement responder sends the first response frame.

A sensing communication method, comprises:
- sending, by a multi-access point (MAP) sensing measurement initiator, a first request frame to a MAP sensing measurement responder, wherein the first request frame is usable to request to initiate a MAP sensing measurement session, the first request frame comprises-includes a multi-access point (MAP) measurement session identifier (ID), and the MAP measurement session ID identifies the MAP sensing measurement session initiated by the MAP sensing measurement initiator;
- and
- receiving, by the MAP sensing measurement initiator, a first response frame that responds to the first request frame, wherein the first response frame includes the MAP measurement session ID.
A multi-access point (MAP) sensing measurement initiator comprising:
- a memory storing instructions;
- a processor;
- and
- a transceiver configured to send a first request frame to a MAP sensing measurement responder, wherein the first request frame is usable to request to initiate a MAP sensing measurement session, the first request frame includes a multi-access point (MAP) measurement session identifier (ID), and the MAP measurement session ID identifies the MAP sensing measurement session initiated by the MAP sensing measurement initiator;
- wherein the processor is configured to execute the instructions to receive a first response frame that responds to the first request frame, wherein the first response frame includes the MAP measurement session ID.

- memory storing instructions;
- a processor;
- and
- a transceiver configured to receive a first request frame from a MAP sensing measurement initiator, wherein the first request frame is usable to request to initiate a MAP sensing measurement session, the first request frame includes a multi-access point MAP measurement session identifier ID, and the MAP measurement session ID identifies the MAP sensing measurement session initiated by the MAP sensing measurement initiator;
- and
- send a first response frame that responds to the first request frame, wherein the first response frame includes the MAP measurement session ID.
