Information processing apparatus, control method thereof, and program

A control method of an information processing apparatus capable of communicating with an imaging apparatus that captures video composed of a plurality of frame images, the control method comprising:

• controlling, by a controller of the information processing apparatus, the imaging apparatus to capture images in a fixed imaging range according to a preset patrol schedule;
• acquiring, by the controller, an edited video generated by editing a recorded video that is a video captured by the imaging apparatus between an end of a first patrol schedule and a start of a second patrol schedule, which is a next patrol schedule after the first patrol schedule;
• acquiring, by the controller, a live video that is video captured by the imaging apparatus according to the second patrol schedule;
• and
• displaying, by the controller, the live video and the edited video on a display.

A program configured to cause a computer to perform operations comprising:

• controlling an imaging apparatus to capture video composed of a plurality of frame images in a fixed imaging range according to a preset patrol schedule;
• acquiring an edited video generated by editing a recorded video that is a video captured by the imaging apparatus between an end of a first patrol schedule and a start of a second patrol schedule, which is a next patrol schedule after the first patrol schedule;
• acquiring a live video that is video captured by the imaging apparatus according to the second patrol schedule;
• and
• displaying the live video and the edited video on a display.
