Abstract
Systems and methods are provided for generating for output a modified notification. A notification is generated. The notification is received at a notification manager running on a first computing device. The notification is modified at the notification manager, thereby creating a modified notification. The modified notification is generated for display.

A method comprising:
- receiving, at a notification manager running, at least in part, on a computing device, an indication to generate a notification comprising one or more modifiable data fields;
- determining, at the notification manager, a current value for at least one data field of the one or more data fields based at least in part on at least one of a state of the computing device or data received via a network;
- generating for display, by the notification manager, the notification by populating the at least one data field with the determined current value;
- receiving an updated value for the at least one data field;
- and
- based at least in part on receiving the updated value, generating for display a modified notification by modifying the at least one data field of the notification with the updated value.

- input/output circuitry configured to:
- receive, at a notification manager running, at least in part, on a computing device, an indication to generate a notification comprising one or more modifiable data fields;
- control circuitry configured to:
- determine, at the notification manager, a current value for at least one data field of the one or more data fields based at least in part on at least one of a state of the computing device or data received via a network;
- generate for display, by the notification manager, the notification by populating the at least one data field with the determined current value;
- wherein the input/output circuitry is further configured to:
- receive an updated value for the at least one data field;
- and
- wherein the control circuitry is further configured to:
- based at least in part on receiving the updated value, generate for display a modified notification by modifying the at least one data field of the notification with the updated value.
