Abstract
In an encrypted communication method, a public key (a first encryption key) is generated using a random seed stored in advance, a random number to be shared with a connected device to be communicated with is obtained through communication using the public key (the first encryption key) generated, and encrypted communication with the connected device is performed using a cryptographic scheme that is usable by using the obtained random number as a symmetric key (a second encryption key).

An encrypted communication method comprising:
- generating a first encryption key using a random seed stored in advance when a cryptographic scheme is updated;
- and
- obtaining a random number to be shared with a connected device to be communicated with, by performing encrypted communication with the connected device using a cryptographic scheme that is usable by using the first encryption key generated,
- wherein the random number obtained is used as a second encryption key to perform encrypted communication with the connected device.

- an encryption key generator that generates a first encryption key using a random seed stored in advance when a cryptographic scheme is updated;
- and
- a communicator that obtains a random number to be shared with a connected device to be communicated with, by performing encrypted communication with the connected device using a cryptographic scheme that is usable by using the first encryption key generated by the encryption key generator,
- wherein the random number obtained by the communicator is used as a second encryption key to perform encrypted communication with the connected device.
