Method and device for carrying out beam-based communication in wireless communication system

A first device, comprising:

• at least one transceiver;
• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory connected to the at least one processor and storing instructions that, based on being executed by the at least one processor, cause the first device to perform operations comprising:
• transmitting control information on a physical control channel for scheduling a physical shared channel;
• transmitting data on the physical shared channel;
• detecting a beam failure;
• triggering, based on that the beam failure has been detected, beam failure recovery;
• and
• determining, based on that the beam failure recovery has been triggered, hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information for the physical shared channel as a positive-ACK.

A processing device comprising:

• at least one processor;
• and
• at least one memory connected to the at least one processor and storing instructions that, based on being executed by the at least one processor, cause a first device to perform operations comprising:
• transmitting control information on a physical control channel for scheduling a physical shared channel;
• transmitting data on the physical shared channel;
• detecting a beam failure;
• triggering, based on that the beam failure has been detected, beam failure recovery;
• and
• determining, based on that the beam failure recovery has been triggered, hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information for the physical shared channel as a positive-ACK.
