Abstract
A processor according to an aspect: during monitoring of operation situations, determines that switching to a safety mode is needed; on the basis of the number of all devices connected to photovoltaic (PV) modules and a predefined safety voltage, identifies a target voltage of each of all the devices; and provides a shutdown signal to each of all the devices so that an output voltage of each of all the devices is controlled to the target voltage.

A processor configured to:
- determine whether a transition to a safety mode is necessary while monitoring an operational situation;
- identify a target voltage for each of total devices connected to photovoltaic (PV) modules, based on the number of the total devices and a selected safety voltage;
- and
- provide a shutdown signal to each of the total devices so that an output voltage of each of the total devices is controlled to be the target voltage.
