Alerting other vehicles of operating hearing impairments

A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions stored in at least one memory and executed by one or more processors to carry out steps for communication between an impaired vehicle operated by an operator with a hearing impairment and another vehicle in the vicinity of the impaired vehicle, the steps comprising:

• communicate, in response to the determination that the operator has the hearing impairment, an alert from the impaired vehicle to the another vehicle, the alert indicating a presence of the impaired vehicle and at least one of a location of the impaired vehicle, a relative location of the impaired vehicle with respect to the another vehicle, or at least one characteristic of the impaired vehicle.
