Abstract
A computer-implemented method, system, and computer program product for configuring a pay statement. An input area is presented for a user to enter settings defining how the pay statement is to be configured. The settings are received from the user. A preview of the pay statement is displayed in a preview area based on the settings. The preview provides a visual representation of how the pay statement will appear for the settings. The user may modify the settings until the preview appears as desired by the user.

A system to configure a pay statement, comprising:
- one or more processors, coupled with memory, to:
- cause generation of a graphical user interface with (i) an input area that includes a logo section, and (ii) a preview area adjacent to the input area, the preview area configured to present a preview of the pay statement;
- provide, for display in the logo section, a first input control configured to receive a first logo file;
- provide, for display in the graphical user interface, a second input control configured to receive a second logo file;
- receive, via the first input control, the first logo file;
- receive, via the second input control, the second logo file;
- cause, responsive to receipt of at least one of the first logo file or the second logo file, the preview area to update to display a preview of the pay statement including a first logo image corresponding to the first logo file and a second logo image corresponding to the second logo file;
- receive, via the logo section, a selection of one of the first logo file or the second logo file as a selected logo for the pay statement, wherein the first logo file and the second logo file correspond to different divisions of an entity, and cause the preview area to update to display the pay statement using the selected logo;
- generate, responsive to the selection, a pay statement template that associates the selected logo with a logo location in the pay statement;
- and
- cause the preview area to display an updated preview of the pay statement using the selected logo.
A method of configuring a pay statement, comprising:
- causing, by one or more processors coupled with memory, generation of a graphical user interface with (i) an input area that includes a logo section, and (ii) a preview area adjacent to the input area, the preview area configured to present a preview of the pay statement;
- providing, by the one or more processors, for display in the logo section, a first input control configured to receive a first logo file;
- providing, by the one or more processors, for display in the graphical user interface, a second input control configured to receive a second logo file;
- receiving, by the one or more processors, via the first input control, the first logo file;
- receiving, by the one or more processors, via the second input control, the second logo file;
- causing, by the one or more processors, responsive to receipt of at least one of the first logo file or the second logo file, the preview area to update to display a preview of the pay statement including a first logo image corresponding to the first logo file and a second logo image corresponding to the second logo file;
- receiving, by the one or more processors, via the logo section, a selection of one of the first logo file or the second logo file as a selected logo for the pay statement, wherein the first logo file and the second logo file correspond to different divisions of an entity, and cause the preview area to update to display the pay statement using the selected logo;
- generating, by the one or more processors, responsive to the selection, a pay statement template that associates the selected logo with a logo location in the pay statement;
- and
- causing, by the one or more processors, the preview area to display an updated preview of the pay statement using the selected logo.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing processor-executable instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:
- cause generation of a graphical user interface with (i) an input area that includes a logo section, and (ii) a preview area adjacent to the input area, the preview area configured to present a preview of a pay statement;
- provide, for display in the logo section, a first input control configured to receive a first logo file;
- provide, for display in the graphical user interface, a second input control configured to receive a second logo file;
- receive, via the first input control, the first logo file;
- receive, via the second input control, the second logo file;
- cause, responsive to receipt of at least one of the first logo file or the second logo file, the preview area to update to display a preview of the pay statement including a first logo image corresponding to the first logo file and a second logo image corresponding to the second logo file;
- receive, via the logo section, a selection of one of the first logo file or the second logo file as a selected logo for the pay statement, wherein the first logo file and the second logo file correspond to different divisions of an entity, and cause the preview area to update to display the pay statement using the selected logo;
- generate, responsive to the selection, a pay statement template that associates the selected logo with a logo location in the pay statement;
- and
- cause the preview area to display an updated preview of the pay statement using the selected logo.
