Systems, methods and non-transitory computer readable media for input validation in artificial intelligence coding are provided. An input in a natural language associated with a desire of an individual to generate source code for a software may be received. The input in the natural language may be analyzed to determine a need for the software to receive data from an external source. Guidance associated with input validation for the received data may be requested from the individual. The requested guidance may be received from the individual. An artificial intelligence model may be used to analyze the input in the natural language to generate the source code, the generated source code includes instructions for receiving the data from the external source and instructions for validating the received data based on the received guidance.
