Abstract

The present invention provides a route generation system that generates a route for improving the efficiency of the movement of a moving body. Provided is a route generation system comprising: a memory storing instructions; and a processor configured to execute the instructions to: calculate, for each region constituting a location where a moving body moves, points to be added to points corresponding to the distance the moving body moves to the region, in accordance with the frequency at which an obstacle appears in the region; and generate a route on which the moving body moves, in accordance with the points added to the region. The calculating calculates such that the greater the number of times there is a change as to whether or not the obstacle exists in the region, the more points are added.
