Abstract
Provided is a system, method, and apparatus for steering light. The system includes a medium arranged in a path of at least one light beam and at least one controller configured to steer the at least one light beam by modulating a sonic waveform in the medium.

A method comprising:
- emitting or receiving at least one light beam through a medium;
- providing a sonic waveform in the medium while the at least one light beam is emitted through the medium;
- and
- steering the at least one light beam by modulating the sonic waveform.
