Reflection device for a head-up display, spring element, bearing retainer, head-up display and motor vehicle

A reflection device for a head-up display for reflecting radiation emitted by an image generation unit, wherein the reflection device comprises:

• a reflection element which has a reflection side and a rear side which is arranged on the side facing away from the reflection side, and
• a mount which at least partially supports the reflection element,
• wherein the reflection element is movably coupled to the mount by means of at least one bearing in such a way that the reflection element is pivotable about at least a first axis relatively vis-à-vis the mount and
• wherein at least one bearing comprises at least two parts:
• a bearing journal and a bearing retainer for receiving the bearing journal,
• wherein the bearing journal has an at least partially convexly spherical, spherical and/or hemispherical outer surface or a spherical end or a spherical surface or the like as a bearing surface,
• wherein the bearing retainer is designed to at least partially receive the bearing journal,
• wherein one of the parts, the bearing journal or the bearing retainer, is fixed immovably to the reflection element and the other part, the bearing retainer or the bearing journal, is immovably attached to the mount
• wherein the bearing retainer has a spring element or is at least partially designed as a spring element and
• wherein the spring element of the bearing retainer is or has a spring cage or is designed in the style of a spring cage.
