Laminate and display device

A laminate comprising:

• a light-absorbing anisotropic layer;
• and
• a pressure sensitive adhesive layer provided adjacent to at least one surface of the light-absorbing anisotropic layer,
• wherein the light-absorbing anisotropic layer contains a dichroic substance having a molecular weight of 1,000 or less,
• an indentation modulus of the pressure sensitive adhesive layer is 0.4 MPa to 6.0 MPa, and
• the pressure sensitive adhesive layer satisfies the following condition 1 or condition 2 with regard to a low-molecular-weight component having a molecular weight of 1,000 or less,
• the condition 1:
• the pressure sensitive adhesive layer does not contain the low-molecular-weight component,
• the condition 2:
• in a case where the pressure sensitive adhesive layer contains the low-molecular-weight component, a content of the low-molecular-weight component satisfying the following expression (I) is 1.0% by mass or less with respect to a mass of the pressure sensitive adhesive layer,

• in the expression (I), A represents a distance between a Hansen solubility parameter of a matrix component in the light-absorbing anisotropic layer and a Hansen solubility parameter of the low-molecular-weight component in the pressure sensitive adhesive layer, and B represents a distance between a Hansen solubility parameter of a matrix component in the pressure sensitive adhesive layer and the Hansen solubility parameter of the low-molecular-weight component in the pressure sensitive adhesive layer.
