Modular channel architecture for a multi channel leak tester

A leak testing system, comprising:

• a plurality of channel boxes each comprising a test channel controller (TCC) printed circuit board (PCB), a plurality of pneumatic components, and a receiving manifold;
• an enclosure comprising a plurality of distribution manifolds and a main control unit (MCU), wherein each of the distribution manifolds is configured to attach to one of the receiving manifolds to thereby pneumatically couple a corresponding one of the channel boxes to the enclosure and communicably couple the TCC PCB of the corresponding one of the channel boxes to the MCU, wherein each of the channel boxes is separately removable from the enclosure;
• and
• a display coupled to the MCU and movable to facilitate user access to, and removal from the enclosure of, one or more of the channel boxes.

A leak testing system, comprising:

• a plurality of channel boxes each comprising a test channel controller (TCC) printed circuit board (PCB), and a plurality of pneumatic components;
• an enclosure comprising a main control unit (MCU) and configured to separately receive and thereby pneumatically couple the channel boxes to the enclosure and communicably couple the TCC PCBs to the MCU, wherein each of the channel boxes is separately removable from the enclosure, the enclosure further comprises a set of test ports for each of the channel boxes, and each of the TCC PCBs is assigned a different sensor range or is programmed to perform a different test procedure, test type, or model type;
• and
• a display coupled to the MCU and configured to provide a user interface for controlling one or more operations of the leak testing system, wherein the display is movable to facilitate user access to, and removal from the enclosure of, each of the channel boxes.
