Abstract
Example pressure sensing apparatuses are provided. For example, an example pressure sensing apparatus may include a spacer and a sensing die. As an example, the spacer is secured between a header and a diaphragm while the sensing die is attached to the header. In such an example, a spacer opening extends through the spacer and the sensing die is positioned in the spacer opening.
Claims20
A pressure sensing apparatus comprising:
- a spacer secured between a header and a diaphragm, wherein a spacer opening extends through the spacer and comprises a sensing die opening portion and one or more header pin opening portions;
- and,
- a sensing die attached to the header and positioned in the sensing die opening portion of the spacer opening, wherein one or more wire bonds connect the sensing die to one or more header pins positioned in the one or more header pin opening portions.
