Abstract

A video preview navigation system has a server communicably connected to a plurality of communication vehicles. The server includes a data acquisition unit configured to, when a first guided route is set in the first vehicle and the first vehicle passes through a preset driving decision point on the first guided route, acquire video data captured by a front camera of the first vehicle at the driving decision point, information of the driving decision point, and information of the first guided route. The server also includes a data providing unit configured to, when a second guided route that at least partially overlaps with the first guided route is set in a second vehicle, provide the video data at the driving decision point to the second vehicle when the second vehicle heads toward the driving decision point where an overlapping route has a matching direction of passage.
