Abstract

A motor vehicle lock, in particular a motor vehicle door lock, is equipped with a locking mechanism substantially consisting of a rotary latch and a pawl. Furthermore, an electromotive drive for the locking mechanism is provided. An emergency actuation element is additionally provided for manually opening the locking mechanism, for example in the event of a failure of the electromotive drive. According to the invention, the electromotive drive has a deflecting contour for unlocking the emergency actuation element.
