A work machine includes: a work machine body; an attachment attached to the work machine body; and control circuitry configured to control the work machine. The control circuitry includes: a reference height specifier configured to set a height of a predetermined portion of the attachment to a reference height upon the work machine being detected to be in a state of measurement for measuring a weight of a conveyed object, the conveyed object being conveyed by an end attachment included in the attachment; and a reference height updater configured to update the reference height in accordance with a change in the height of the predetermined portion of the attachment upon the work machine being detected to be in the state of measurement.
