Abstract
An optical article that includes a base, an underlayer, and a surface treatment layer arranged in this order, wherein the underlayer is a layer formed with use of an underlayer forming composition that contains a silane compound other than silica, and the surface treatment layer is a layer formed with use of a surface treatment agent that contains a compound having a chain group and a reactive silyl group.

An optical article, comprising a base, an underlayer, and a surface treatment layer arranged in this order,
- the underlayer being a layer formed of an underlayer forming composition that contains a silane compound other than silica, and
- the surface treatment layer being a layer formed of a surface treatment agent that contains a compound having a chain group and a reactive silyl group.
An underlayer forming composition, comprising a silane compound other than silica, the composition being used for forming an underlayer in an optical article that comprises a base, the underlayer, and a surface treatment layer that contains a compound having a chain group and a reactive silyl group, arranged in this order.
A surface treatment set, comprising an underlayer forming composition used for forming an underlayer, and a surface treatment agent used for forming a surface treatment layer, in an optical article having a base, the underlayer, and the surface treatment layer arranged in this order,
- the underlayer forming composition comprising a silane compound other than silica, and
- the surface treatment agent comprising a compound having a chain group and a reactive silyl group.
