Abstract

The invention relates to a method for installing an elevator system. The method comprises the method steps of providing a wall element a manufacturing site and arranging elevator components on the wall element at the manufacturing site. According to the invention, the method steps of transporting the wall element from the manufacturing site to an installation site of the elevator system and arranging the wall element are additionally carried out in such a way that the wall element only forms a shaft space of the vertically extending elevator shaft at the installation site together with walls of the elevator shaft, in which shaft space an elevator car of the elevator system can be arranged in a displaceable manner.
