Abstract

An object of the invention is to provide, for a flying object such as a drone or an eVTOL, a propulsion device including a motor and a fan including a plurality of blades and a hub portion, and configured to implement cooling of the motor while ensuring structural reliability of the fan. Therefore, in a propulsion device 1 including a motor 3, a rotation shaft 17 driven by the motor 3, and a fan 2 attached to the rotation shaft 17, the fan 2 includes a hub portion 5 attached to the rotation shaft 17 and a plurality of blades 4 provided at equal intervals on an outer periphery of the hub portion 5, the hub portion 5 has a plurality of hole portions 6 arranged at equal intervals in a circumferential direction of the hub portion 5, and at least a part of side surfaces of the plurality of hole portions 6 is sloped with respect to a center axis of the rotation shaft 17.
