Personal watercraft and sponson for personal watercraft

A personal watercraft comprising:

• a deck;
• a hull supporting the deck, the hull comprising:
• a bottom portion having a V-shape;
• a left side portion extending toward the deck from a left side of the bottom portion, the left side portion having a left step with a left side surface and a left bottom surface;
• and
• a right side portion extending toward the deck from a right side of the bottom portion, the right side portion having a right step with a right side surface and a right bottom surface,
• a motor supported by at least one of the hull and the deck;
• a propulsion system operatively connected to the motor, and supported by the hull;
• a left sponson connected to the left side portion, the left sponson comprising:
• a left longitudinal portion extending along the left bottom surface;
• a left upper portion extending toward the deck from the left longitudinal portion, the left upper portion extending along the left side surface;
• and
• a left lower portion extending away from the deck from the left longitudinal portion,
• at least one left fastener extending through the left longitudinal portion and through the left bottom surface, the at least one left fastener connecting the left sponson to the hull;
• a right sponson connected to the right side portion, the right sponson comprising:
• a right longitudinal portion extending along the right bottom surface;
• a right upper portion extending toward the deck from the right longitudinal portion, the right upper portion extending along the right side surface;
• and
• a right lower portion extending away from the deck from the right longitudinal portion,
• at least one right fastener extending through the right longitudinal portion and through the right bottom surface, the at least one right fastener for connecting the right sponson to the hull.
