Device for processing food products, having a conveyor unit for transporting food products along a main conveying direction and a packaging and/or food processing unit downstream of the conveyor unit in the main conveying direction, the device also having a position detection sensor for detecting the position and/or orientation of a food product located on the conveyor unit, the position detection sensor is rotationally fixed to a support element extending perpendicularly to the main conveying direction, the position detection sensor is also displaceable along the support element and is lockable in a desired position on the support element with a locking means.
