Abstract
Provided herein is a combination of dietary fibres with optional naturally occurring binder as entrapment for bioactive(s) such that the bioactive(s) can be delivered in the form of controlled release powder/granule. The active may be water soluble or insoluble. The combination comprises a naturally dietary fibers in which the bioactive is entrapped. Present invention also provides a composition comprising combination of dietary fiber and optional naturally occurring binder entrapping water soluble/insoluble bioactives therein and process of preparing the same.

A combination of dietary fibres for entrapment of bio-active, comprising:
- soluble and insoluble dietary fibres in a ratio of 5:1 to 1:5;
- optional binder and water soluble or water insoluble bio-active entrapped therein.
An entrapment composition comprising combination of dietary fibres comprising:
- soluble and insoluble fibers in a ratio of 5:1 to 1:5;
- optional binder;
- entrapped water soluble or water insoluble bio-active therein;
- and excipients.
