Abstract
Provided is an external composition for anti-aging, and an aging retarding method using the composition. An external composition for anti-aging containing glutathione persulfide or glutathione analog persulfide, can suppress a decrease in cell proliferation capability and hyaluronic acid production capability after aging induction. Tyrosinase activity of melanin induced melanoma cells can also be suppressed, and dark spots, freckles, pigmentation after sunburn, and the like can be improved by suppressing melanin production.

An anti-aging composition comprising 0.001 to 0.7 wt % of persulfide of a glutathione analog or persulfide of a cysteine analog.
An anti-aging composition wherein the persulfide of a glutathione analog or the persulfide of a cysteine analog is oxidized glutathione trisulfide or oxidized NAC trisulfide.
A method for enhancing a melanin production suppressing action of a glutathione analog or a cysteine analog, wherein the glutathione analog or the cysteine analog is persulfided.
A method for enhancing a hyaluronic acid producing action of a glutathione analog or a cysteine analog, wherein the glutathione analog or the cysteine analog is persulfided.
