Electronic device comprising camera and operation method thereof

An electronic device comprising:

• a first camera;
• at least one sensor configured to acquire sensing data;
• a display;
• memory storing instructions;
• and
• one or more processors,
• wherein the instructions, when executed by the one or more processors individually or collectively, cause the electronic device to:
• display, on the display, a first preview image obtained by the first camera;
• define a region of interest including at least one object image within the first preview image;
• based on a tilt of the electronic device being detected based on the sensing data, obtain angle information which is used for identifying a direction in which the first camera is oriented relative to a reference plane;
• determine a projection matrix to be applied to the region of interest, based on the angle information and position information of the region of interest within the first preview image;
• apply the projection matrix to the region of interest;
• and
• display, on the display, a second preview image including the region of interest to which the projection matrix.
