• The tuning-fork-type piezoelectric vibrating piece according to claim 1, wherein the first conductive joining part and the second conductive joining part are each formed with a metal bump.

• The tuning-fork-type piezoelectric vibrating piece according to claim 1, wherein a constriction is provided between the base part and the external joining part.

• The tuning-fork-type piezoelectric vibrating piece according to claim 1, wherein a width of the base part in a direction in which the first vibrating arm and the second vibrating arm are arranged in parallel to each other in plan view decreases proceeding from the first and second vibrating arms side of the base part to the external joining part side of the base part.

• The tuning-fork-type piezoelectric vibrating piece according to claim 1, wherein when a line connecting two ends of the other end portion of the base part in plan view is defined as a virtual disposition line, the external joining part is located entirely only in a region on a side on which the base part is not located in plan view with the virtual disposition line as a reference line.

• the base part is provided with either a through-hole or a recessed part, and
• the either through-hole or recessed part is provided between the first vibrating arm and the conductive joining part that, out of the first conductive joining part and the second conductive joining part, is closer to the virtual centerline in plan view.

• The tuning-fork-type piezoelectric vibrating piece according to claim 1, wherein:
• the base part, the first vibrating arm, the second vibrating arm, and the external joining part are made of crystal, and
• a negative direction of an X-axis of the crystal is, in plan view, a direction from the second vibrating arm toward the first vibrating arm in a direction in which the first vibrating arm and the second vibrating arm are arranged in parallel to each other.

• A tuning-fork-type piezoelectric vibrating element in which the tuning-fork-type piezoelectric vibrating piece according to claim 1 is mounted and housed inside a vessel and hermetically sealed.

• A tuning-fork-type piezoelectric oscillator in which the tuning-fork-type piezoelectric vibrating piece according to claim 1 and an integrated circuit element having a temperature compensation circuit are mounted and housed inside a vessel and hermetically sealed.
