Abstract
An inductor assembly for use in electromagnetic treatment of the human or animal body comprises a housing, an inductor arranged in the housing and electrically insulating material within the housing The electrically insulating material at least partially surrounds the inductor and may be moulded around the inductor. The electrically insulating material at least partially defines a fluid channel for a cooling fluid for cooling the inductor. The fluid channel is located or defined between the housing and the electrically insulating material.

An inductor assembly comprising:
- a housing;
- an inductor arranged in the housing;
- and
- electrically insulating material within the housing;
- wherein the electrically insulating material at least partially surrounds the inductor;
- and
- wherein the electrically insulating material at least partially defines a fluid channel for a cooling fluid for cooling the inductor.
