Systems and methods for displaying distal fractional flow reserve values in vascular analysis

A method for vascular assessment comprising:

• receiving a plurality of medical images imaging a portion of a vasculature of a subject, wherein the portion of the vasculature comprises one or more vessels;
• calculating, based on the medical images, flow index values quantifying vascular function along a designated vessel of the portion of the vasculature;
• and
• generating an interactive user interface for presentation, wherein the interactive user interface:
• presents a three-dimensional vascular model of the portion of the vasculature including the designated vessel, wherein the presentation includes a first flow index value corresponding to a specific point along the designated vessel and a second flow index value corresponding to a distal location along the designated vessel, and
• responds to user input adjusting the specific point, wherein the first flow index value is updated based on the user input.

A system comprising:

• a non-transitory data store storing computer-executable instructions;
• and
• a processor in communication with the non-transitory data store, wherein the computer-executable instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:
• receive a plurality of medical images imaging a portion of a vasculature of a subject, wherein the portion of the vasculature comprises one or more vessels;
• calculate, based on the medical images, flow index values quantifying vascular function along a designated vessel of the portion of the vasculature;
• and
• generate an interactive user interface for presentation, wherein the interactive user interface:
• presents a three-dimensional vascular model of the portion of the vasculature including the designated vessel, wherein the presentation includes a first flow index value corresponding to a specific point along the designated vessel and a second flow index value corresponding to a distal location along the designated vessel, and
• responds to user input adjusting the specific point, wherein the first flow index value is updated based on the user input.

Non-transitory computer storage media storing instructions that when executed by a system of one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:

• receive a plurality of medical images imaging a portion of a vasculature of a subject, wherein the portion of the vasculature comprises one or more vessels;
• calculate, based on the medical images, flow index values quantifying vascular function along a designated vessel of the portion of the vasculature;
• and
• generate an interactive user interface for presentation, wherein the interactive user interface:
• presents a three-dimensional vascular model of the portion of the vasculature including the designated vessel, wherein the presentation includes a first flow index value corresponding to a specific point along the designated vessel and a second flow index value corresponding to a distal location along the designated vessel, and
• responds to user input adjusting the specific point, wherein the first flow index value is updated based on the user input.
