An information processing method by an information processing apparatus, the information processing method comprising:

• acquiring an error message from an IT (Information Technology) system;
• acquiring configuration information indicating a configuration of the IT system;
• acquiring state information indicating a state of a device configuring the IT system;
• and
• acquiring partial configuration information indicating part of the configuration of the IT system indicated by the configuration information in accordance with the error message, the configuration information, and the state information.

A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium with a program recorded thereon, the program comprising instructions for causing an information processing apparatus to enable processes to:

• acquire an error message from an IT (Information Technology) system;
• acquire configuration information indicating a configuration of the IT system;
• acquire state information indicating a state of a device configuring the IT system;
• and
• acquire partial configuration information indicating part of the configuration of the IT system indicated by the configuration information in accordance with the error message, the configuration information, and the state information.
