Map data updating method, apparatus, and cleaning system

A method for updating map data, which is applied to a mobile terminal and comprises:

• receiving summary information of map data changes sent via a server side;
• sending map data update request information to the server side;
• and
• receiving changed map data sent via the server side, and updating the map data based on the changed map data.

A server, comprising:

• a memory, configured to store a computer program therein;
• and
• a processor, configured to execute the computer program;
• wherein the computer program, when executed by the processor, implements a method for updating map data, which is applied to a server side and comprises:
• determining summary information of map data changes based on current map data information and cached map data information, and sending the summary information of map data changes to a mobile terminal;
• and
• sending changed map data to a mobile terminal in response to map data update request information sent by the mobile terminal.
