The invention relates to a processing system that converts an oilfield byproduct into more valuable and marketable commodity streams. To be specific, a method for treating unfractionated natural gas liquids (NGLs) known as Y-Grade to produce three (3) marketable commodity streams: 1) lean field gas for utility use or gas sales made up of methane (C1); 2) high-graded liquid solvent for dedicated usage in well stimulation treatments and miscible oil recovery operations, heavily weighted toward ethane, propane and butane (C2, C3 and C4); and 3) stabilized pentane plus (C5+) oil stream for direct oil sales. The invention can be used standalone or incorporated in a processing system receiving produced fluids from wells that have been treated with unfractionated NGLs for Enhanced Oil Recovery purposes.
