Abstract

A refrigerator according to one embodiment comprises: an ice-making compartment which provides a space for producing ice; a cooler which supplies or operates to supply cold to the ice-making compartment; and an ice maker for producing ice by means of the cold. The ice maker comprises: a first tray assembly having a first tray forming part of an ice-making cell, which is a space where water is made to change phase to ice by means of the cold; and a second tray assembly having a second tray forming another part of the ice-making cell, and a second tray case provided on one side of the second tray.
